Dedicated in memory of Helen Romanoli Davis. Helen’s Closet was completed during our visit in October 2019 and was fully stocked with items for sale to visitors, neighbors as well as at the local market.  The girls have been busy filling the store with handmade items including beautiful beaded purses, cloth bags, aprons, shirts, necklaces, earrings, baskets and many other beautiful items.  On each trip, our volunteers leave most of their clothes at Mama Jane’s, and refill their luggage home with souvenirs and gifts purchased in Helen’s Closet.

In 2023 we shipped and carried over supplies for Helen’s Closet donated by Joann Fabric and Crafts and coordinated by volunteer, Alex Stetka. Joann’s provided beads, yarn, wire and a variety of crafting supplies. Helen’s Closet has become one of the most successful sustaining and revenue generating programs at Mama Jane’s.
